Talk to a peer counselor: Heal from the pain of infidelity.
Your relationship may recover or your relationship may end, but you can heal from and survive this trauma.
Our trained volunteer peer counselors are all women who have survived infidelity themselves; some are married, some are divorced. They will support you unconditionally and nonjudgmentally in your personal recovery from this traumatic experience.
Call us at (650) 521-5897 ext 101.
Leave your first name only and phone number where we can give you a confidential call. A peer counselor will call you back within 24 hours * If the peer counselor has to leave a message, she will simply leave her first name and say that she's from the counseling network.
* From time to time, we receive more calls than our peer counselors can handle…we’re a small organization and growing rapidly! In that case, we will call you back within 24 hours to give you an estimated date by when a peer counselor will be available for you.
A meaningful place to start is The Monogamy Myth: A Personal Handbook for Recovering from Affairs by Peggy Vaughan. We also recommend the Beyond Affairs Network and Dear Peggy.com for articles and guidance.
Peer counseling is not a substitute for guidance by a licensed mental health professional. Please seek this help if needed. If this is a true emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
