What does our organization do?
We provide free, confidential, one-to-one telephone peer counseling and support for women who are coping with their husband's or partner's infidelity.
We've been through it, and we will listen to you without judgment. You can talk, rage, vent, laugh, cry, question, explore.
Our organization is run entirely by volunteers who all believe passionately in our mission.
To help women continue to receive our free peer counseling services, donate securely via Paypal here.
Who are we?
We are a small all-volunteer group of women, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our peer counselors are women who survived infidelity; some of our counselors are married, some are divorced.
Regardless of how our different situations turned out, we have this in common: we healed and we survived. You will, too. Talking about it can help.
Is this a support group?
We are not a support group or online forum. Based in California, we provide free one-to-one telephone peer support to women anywhere in the United States and beyond. Our trained volunteer peer counselors will support you, unconditionally and nonjudgmentally, in your survival of and healing from infidelity.
You are not ready to tell anybody about his affair.
Okay. If you decide you want to talk to us another time, just give us a call. A meaningful place to start is The Monogamy Myth: A Personal Handbook for Recovering from Affairs by Peggy Vaughan. We also recommend the Beyond Affairs Network and Dear Peggy.com for invaluable articles and guidance.
Peer counseling is not a substitute for guidance by a licensed mental health professional. Please seek this help if needed. If this is a true emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
